The other 3 lists I'm on are CONSTANTLY flaming each other. We may have our disagreements but as a whole I think we do pretty darn good. I think it has to do with being far away from the people you are talking to, the farther away the more aggressive you are. Would you call a person a idiot to there face? Don't think so..... I think any business person out there has a right and a NEED to have a markup. Otherwise they wouldn't be around very long. Were would we be without Bill and his parts business. Who else would have gone out on a limb to order in XXXXXX diff's at what must have been a CONSIDERABLE expense? So agreed a business needs to make money and has to have a markup. Now that doesn't mean we can't look around for alternatives, if you find a comparable part for less money or a part that works fine for you and my not be a nicely built or finished go for it. Something that is apparent to me is the very high quality of Bill's parts, hell of a job Bill. As some of you know I'm working on supplying parts to this list as well as opening a mail order business. The parts I plan to sell will not in most cases be any competition to Bill's. With a little luck we will just have many more choses then ever AND more importantly a happy list.
